Good to know

Is the Brother PC-301 genuine?
Yes. The Brother PC-301 is a genuine Brother product and arrives new in its original packaging.

How do I know when to replace PC-301?
The fax will display a message when the ribbon is low or empty. Keep a spare on hand so incoming faxes are not missed.

Can I reuse the cartridge holder?
Yes. The holder in a full cartridge is designed to be reused, so later you can buy just the ribbon refill for your model.

How to load the Brother PC-301

Open the fax machine’s control panel cover and lift out the ribbon cartridge or spool holder.
Remove the used ribbon and fit the new one, making sure the ribbon is not twisted or creased.
Turn the gear to take up any slack, then refit the cartridge and close the cover.
Print a test page to confirm the ribbon is feeding correctly.

Storage and handling

Keep spare ribbons in their packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Handle the film by the edges so it does not crease, as creases can show as white lines on received faxes.

Delivery, returns and support

Orders are packed within 1–2 business days and sent with tracking to every Australian state for a flat $19.99 delivery fee. Change your mind? Let us know within 30 days of delivery under our returns policy, and faulty items are covered by Australian Consumer Law. Not sure this is the right part for your machine?
