It runs one 2.4GHz band at up to 1376 Mbps, one 5GHz band at up to 5764 Mbps and two 6GHz bands at up to 11529 Mbps each, using 320MHz channels and 4096-QAM on 6GHz. All bands are 4×4, powered by a 2.6GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM.

Two 6GHz bands give WiFi 7 devices wide, uncongested channels, while older devices stay on 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The ROG Rapture GT-BE98 Pro backs this up with one 10Gb WAN/LAN port, one 10Gb LAN port, one 2.5Gb WAN/LAN port, three 2.5Gb LAN ports and a Gigabit LAN port, plus USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0. Eight external antennas and AiMesh support help cover larger homes.
