The Wavlink UMD308 is an ultra-compact 7-in-1 USB-C docking station with one DisplayPort and two HDMI ports for up to three monitors. On Windows hosts with DP 1.4 and DSC 1.2, any of the three video ports can drive a single 8K@60Hz screen, or all three can run 4K@60Hz together. A 100W PD input passes up to 95W to your laptop, and three USB 2.0 ports connect your peripherals.

Three 4K screens give you room for timelines, design tools, spreadsheets and chat all at once, and the Wavlink UMD308 delivers that from a single USB-C port in a dock that weighs just 85g. All three video outputs are 8K-capable on suitable Windows hosts, so you are not limited to one premium port. When you connect your own certified charger, it passes up to 95W to keep a working laptop topped up. HDCP, rotation and clamshell modes are supported on both Windows and macOS, and the nylon-braided cable is built to resist tangles and wear.
Who is the Wavlink UMD308 for?
The Wavlink UMD308 is ideal for meetings, gaming, presentations, stock chart analysis, programming and design on a laptop whose USB-C port supports video output and charging. It is plug and play on Windows 11/10/8.1/8/7, macOS, Chrome OS, Linux, iPadOS, HarmonyOS and Android (OTG required). A typical Windows setup has three 4K monitors across the DisplayPort and both HDMI ports, with a mouse, keyboard and USB drive on the USB 2.0 ports and a certified USB-C charger in the PD IN port. Its small size also suits coffee shops and travel.
Wavlink UMD308 key features
- Single 8K@60Hz: The DisplayPort and both HDMI ports each support 8K@60Hz on a single screen from a Windows host with DP 1.4 and DSC 1.2, or 8K@30Hz and 4K@120Hz from DP 1.4 without DSC.
- Triple 4K@60Hz on Windows: With DP 1.4 and DSC 1.2, Windows extends to three different screens at 4K@60Hz each. DP 1.4 without DSC gives three 2K@60Hz screens, and DP 1.2 gives three 1080p@60Hz screens.
- 4K@120Hz dual display: Two screens can run at 4K@120Hz plus 4K@60Hz on a DP 1.4 and DSC 1.2 host, giving smooth motion on one monitor and sharp detail on the other.
- 95W pass-through charging: The USB-C PD IN port accepts up to 100W and delivers up to 95W to your laptop. Use a certified charger, which is not included, and check that your laptop's USB-C port supports charging.
- Three USB 2.0 ports: Three USB-A 2.0 ports at 480Mbps connect mice, keyboards, printers and USB disks, so all your everyday peripherals work through the same single cable.
- Compact aluminium design: The Wavlink UMD308 measures 111 x 50 x 15mm and weighs 85g, with a silver aluminium housing and a 25cm nylon-braided cable that stands up to everyday use.

Wavlink UMD308 FAQs
Can the Wavlink UMD308 extend three different screens on a Mac?
No. A Mac extends to one external screen with different content and mirrors that content on the other screens. On macOS, each screen can run at up to 4K@60Hz. Windows can extend to three different screens.
What does my Windows laptop need for 8K or triple 4K?
Your laptop's USB-C port needs DP 1.4 with DSC 1.2 for single 8K@60Hz or triple 4K@60Hz. Without DSC, expect 8K@30Hz or 4K@120Hz on one screen; on DP 1.2, single 4K@60Hz. Some laptops support only three monitors including the built-in screen.
Is a charger included with the Wavlink UMD308?
No, the charger and charging cable are not included. Plug a certified USB-C charger of up to 100W into the PD IN port and the dock passes up to 95W through to your laptop while your screens and USB devices are connected.
Does it need drivers?
No. The dock is plug and play on Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Linux, iPadOS, HarmonyOS and Android. USB-C phones and tablets need OTG support, and your host's USB-C port must support video output and charging for full functionality.
