The Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro is an enterprise-grade 18-in-1 universal docking station with eight video outputs split into four display groups, each offering HDMI or DP++. Connect up to four monitors at up to 5120 x 1440@60Hz, charge your laptop at up to 100W, and add 2.5G Ethernet, an SD/microSD 4.0 card reader, four USB-A ports and a 30W USB-C charging port.

Large spreadsheets, trading screens, design timelines and control rooms all benefit from more screen space than a laptop can provide on its own. The Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro turns one USB connection into a four-monitor workstation, with HDMI and DP++ choices in each display group so you can use the cables and screens you already have. The 180W power adapter covers both laptop charging and the dock itself, while 2.5G networking and a UHS-II card reader speed up moving large photo and video files.
Who is the Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro for?
It is built for large offices, designers, photographers and anyone who wants three or four screens on one desk. A typical setup connects four monitors to the HDMI or DisplayPort outputs, a network cable to the 2.5G port, a keyboard and mouse to the 5Gbps USB ports and an external SSD to the 10Gbps port. Install the latest driver, then connect the Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro to a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 laptop, or use the USB-A converter on older computers that lack USB-C.
Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro key features
- Up to four displays: Eight video outputs are grouped into four streams, each with one HDMI and one DP++ port. Use one port per group to run up to four screens at up to 5120 x 1440@60Hz in mirror or extend mode.
- 100W laptop charging: The supplied 180W power adapter lets the dock deliver up to 100W USB PD 3.0 charging to your laptop, provided the laptop supports USB PD charging at that power level.
- 2.5G Ethernet: The RJ45 port supports 2.5Gbps networking for fast file transfers and is backward compatible with 10/100/1000Mbps networks, so it works on existing office switches and routers.
- SD 4.0 card reader: SD and microSD slots support UHS-II cards with a theoretical bus speed of up to 312MB/s, ideal for copying photos and video straight from camera cards to your computer.
- Fast USB and charging ports: One 10Gbps USB-A port with BC1.2 fast charging, three 5Gbps USB-A ports and a separate USB-C port that provides up to 30W PD charging for phones and tablets (charging only, no data).
- Wide host compatibility: Works with USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 laptops and, with the included USB-A converter, with USB-A computers. Supports Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, Android and Ubuntu. A driver is required.

Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro FAQs
How many monitors can the Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro run?
Up to four. The eight video outputs form four groups, each with an HDMI and a DP++ port. Use only one port per group; if both are connected in the same group, DisplayPort works and HDMI does not. Each display can reach 5120 x 1440@60Hz.
Does the Wavlink UG69PD8 Pro need a driver?
Yes, the latest driver is needed for multi-display and high-resolution output. A paper CD with the driver link is included, and links to the latest driver are provided on the official Wavlink website. Install it before connecting your monitors.
Will it run at 40Gbps on a Thunderbolt 3 laptop?
No. The dock works with Thunderbolt 3 laptops, but the data transfer rate is limited to a maximum of 10Gbps rather than the full 40Gbps of Thunderbolt. Bear this in mind when copying very large files to fast external drives.
Can it charge my laptop through the USB-A converter?
No. Laptop charging of up to 100W works only through the USB-C connection on laptops that support USB PD charging. When you connect through the USB-A converter, the dock still provides displays and ports but cannot charge the computer.
