The Wavlink NU516U1 is a wireless N300 USB network print server that turns a standard USB printer into a shared network printer. Connect it to your router by 802.11b/g/n WiFi or the 10/100Mbps LAN port, and every computer on the network can print to it. A second 10/100Mbps bridge port provides wired internet for another device, and a USB hub lets you share up to four printers.

Will the Wavlink NU516U1 work with my printer?
It works with most USB printers that support the RAW protocol, including HP, Canon, Epson, Brother and many others. A few models are not supported, such as the Canon LBP2900, 2900+, 3000 and 7200, HP P1108, HP M403D and Epson 1390. Check RAW support before buying if unsure.
Does the Wavlink NU516U1 need a driver?
The print server itself needs no driver. You install your printer's own driver from the manufacturer's website on each computer, then follow the quick start guide to add the printer over the network. Your computer and the print server should be on the same local network.
Can I scan or print from my phone?
No. It supports multi-function printers for printing, but the scanning function is not supported, and printing from phones and tablets is not supported either. It is designed for printing from Windows and Mac computers.
What is standalone mode?
In standalone mode the print server broadcasts its own WiFi network, and computers connect to it directly to print without a router. While connected this way, those computers will not have internet access, so it suits locations with no existing network.
